I have always been fascinated by beadwork and began my work with beads in 2008 after retiring from my work in the mental health field. Self-taught, all of my work is woven off-loom, using primarily size 11 seed beads, which are just slightly larger than a grain of sand.
Inspiration is drawn from the patterns and colors of nature and the world around me. Landscape photography has been a hobby for years and I enjoy creating unique and original woven pieces that capture the stunning vistas of places that I have traveled. I am a juried member of the Louisville Artisans Guild and the Kentucky Guild of Artists and Craftsmen. You can find me at various art shows throughout the region. |
